About rice polishing ratio

The milling ratio for sake is an indicator of the percentage of rice hulls that are removed.
For example, a 60% milling ratio means that 60 kg of white rice is obtained from 100 kg of brown rice, and 40 kg of the hull is removed.
The remaining 40 kg of rice is used to make sake with a milling ratio of 60%.
