Introduction of Nakai Sake Brewery

It has long been said that “where there is good water, there is good sake.
Nakai Sake Brewery draws water from the rich subterranean waters of Daisen National Park and uses it as brewing water.
Daisen, a national park, as brewing water. The mineral-rich softness of this natural water is ideal for sake brewing.

We have been brewing sake for more than 140 years since our establishment in 1877, but the environment surrounding sake has changed recently, and we are now in a situation where tradition alone is not enough to sustain our business.

We will not change our attitude toward sake brewing, but will continue to make sake that meets the changing times and needs, while utilizing the techniques we have cultivated.

We will continue to make sake that satisfies not only the experts, but also customers who have never been interested in sake.

Sake does not have an expiration date label. Instead, the date of manufacture is listed. This is because the high alcohol content of sake allows it to be stored for a long period of time, and the Food Labeling Law does not require the labeling of an expiration date. It can be stored in an unopened container in a cool place out of direct sunlight for up to one year.
