Uchibuki, which is home to Haseji Temple and was introduced in the previous post, “Scenery of Kurayoshi City 1,” rises to the south of the Kurayoshi city center,
Around the mountain, there are many public facilities, Uchibuki Park, and a hiking course selected as one of the top 100 natural forests in Japan.
The summit of the mountain is the former site of Uchibuki Castle, and along the way there is a rest area with a view of the city and Haseji Temple, where many votive picture horses are dedicated.
