About sake

Sake does not have an expiration date label.
Instead, the date of manufacture is listed.
This is because the high alcohol content of sake allows it to be stored for a long period of time, and the Food Labeling Law does not require the labeling of an expiration date.
It can be stored in an unopened container in a cool place out of direct sunlight for up to one year.
